Japan has deployed forty F-15 fighters on the island of Okinawa, in defense of the East China Sea.

This is what the country's Ministry of Defense reports. The Japan Air Self-Defense Force fighters have been relocated from Tsuiki base on the southwestern island of Kyushu and deployed to the Naha base. Beijing claims the Diaoyu Islands (which the Japanese call Senkaku), as well as the territorial waters for almost the entire South China Sea. It is a strong line of defense - they add from the Japanese Ministry of Defense - we have incredibly increased our ability to defend national interests.
