The coalition air strikes in Syria and Iraq of March 14-15

The United States and the military coalition forces also attacked the terrorists of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria today. We update on the details of the latest bombings, which took place between 08:00 on March 14 and 08:00 today, local time.

Evaluations of results are based on initial reports.

Air strikes in Syria

Fighters and bombers have conducted 4 air raids:

- Near Kobani, four attacks hit a tactical unit and destroyed nine combat positions and a vehicle.

Air strikes in Iraq

Fighter and remotely piloted aircraft conducted 7 air raids:

- Around Asad, an attack hit a tactical unit.

- Near Al Hawayjah, an attack hit a tactical unit and destroyed a vehicle.

- Near Al Qaim, an attack destroyed an excavator.

- Near Falluja, an attack destroyed a vehicle.

- Near Ramadi, two attacks hit a tactical unit and a parking area.

- Near Tal Afar, an attack destroyed an excavator.

Operation Inherent Resolve

The attacks were conducted as part of Operation Inherent Resolve. The operation aims to eliminate the terrorist group ISIS and the threat it poses to Iraq, Syria, the region, and the wider international community.

The destruction of targets in Syria and Iraq aims to limit the capabilities of the terrorist group and to design military and terrorist operations.

The coalition nations participating in the air strikes in Iraq are: the United States, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

The coalition nations participating in the air strikes in Syria are: the United States, Bahrain, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
