Iraq's coalition bombings of 29-30 March

The United States and the military coalition forces also attacked the terrorists of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria today. We update on the details of the latest bombings, which took place between 08:00 on March 29 and 08:00 today, local time.

Evaluations of results are based on initial reports.

Air strikes in Iraq

Fighters and bombers conducted 7 air strikes approved by the Iraqi Ministry of Defense:

- Near Mosul, two attacks hit several battle stations.

- Near Sinjar, an attack hit a large tactical unit and destroyed a rocket launcher and a building.

- Near Tal Afar, an air strike hit a tactical unit and destroyed a building.

- Near Tikrit, three airstrikes hit several buildings and destroyed two armored vehicles.

Operation Inherent Resolve

The attacks were conducted as part of Operation Inherent Resolve. The operation aims to eliminate the terrorist group ISIS and the threat it poses to Iraq, Syria, the region, and the wider international community.

The destruction of targets in Syria and Iraq aims to limit the capabilities of the terrorist group and to design military and terrorist operations.

The coalition nations participating in the air strikes in Iraq are: the United States, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Jordan, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.

The coalition nations participating in the air strikes in Syria are: the United States, Bahrain, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
