Finland, "possible Russian invasion". Moscow, "you are few"

22/07/15

Finland has decided to increase the military budget to provide adequate training for its new rapid reaction force. According to a statement by the Finnish Defense Minister, Jussi Niinisto in Defense News, "the soldiers will be employed in four military districts to protect Finland from a possible invasion by Russia".

He added Niinisto "In the event of an invasion, Finland will also use its reservists in addition to the rapid reaction force of the regular army".

The only question to ask - the Russians comment ironically through the Sputnik agency - is to understand how many soldiers the country has to cover the 1340 km of wastelands that separate Russia from Finland.

They continue from the news agency - "Hysteria about an imaginary Russian aggression has now reached incredible levels and is spreading throughout Scandinavia. Last June, the Helsinki government expressed concern over the buildings bought by ordinary Russian citizens, believed to be Kremlin spies. Pure madness".
