A few minutes ago, Lochkeed Martin sent us a reply to the report released yesterday by the National Security Network, a Washington think tank. In the document, the fifth-generation fighter was judged to be inferior to current Russian and Chinese fighters.

Below is the release from the American company.

"The US government, as well as eight international partners who have already invested more than 50 billion dollars, along with Lockheed Martin and a growing number of foreign customers such as Korea, Japan and Israel, see the F-35 program differently from the National Security Network 'analysts', 'researchers' and 'experts'. The Marines have recently declared the Initial Operational Capacity, which means that the F-35B could immediately go to war if necessary. To date, 15.000 sorties have been performed for a total of 36.000 flight hours. No critical issues were detected that prevented the partners of the program from continuing to develop the JSF. We have 130 F-35 in service with four different countries and within the next 18 months, Norway, Italy, Japan and Israel will begin to receive the first F-35. The solidity of the program has never been questioned and by 2020, about 650 F-35 will cross the skies ”.
