Drunk for Everyone: They are now a risk to security

The report signed by the Center for a New American Security analyzes the proliferation of drones and advances in technology, now also accessible to terrorist organizations.

"Over time, the capabilities and capabilities of drones sold to civilians will become more and more advanced. The gap between military drones and those sold to the public tapers more and more, as do the prices that continue to fall."

According to the report, the drones will cost less and less, offering more capacity to the user. This means that the public is offered platforms equipped with highly advanced technology that can be used for surveillance or transport of material.

"Drones for civilians will not have the ability to launch missiles or bombs, but can be used as low-cost precision weapons to disperse chemical-biological components or simply to hit targets with explosives."

Drones are generally divided into four categories: small user drones, commercial drones, large military drones and stealth military drones. Military drones are available only to the armed forces of the states, but it is also true that with less than 100 euros anyone can buy a commercial drone.

The mission of the Center for a New American Security is to contribute to the pragmatic development of national security and defense policies.
