Four Turkish fighters, two armed, have violated Greek airspace three times. On three occasions they were intercepted by Greek fighters. The intrusion is pounced yesterday in the northeast of the Aegean Sea. This is what the Greek Ministry of Defense declares.

The release also speaks of a "dogfight". In this case it would be appropriate to talk about close and not combat maneuvers. Turkish fighters have entered Greek airspace on several occasions since last December following a diplomatic "quarrel" between the two countries.

The Turks, according to the Greeks, would have started to repeatedly violate Greek airspace following a message from Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras that on Twitter has accused Ankara of repeated transgressions in the Aegean. Turkey does not recognize an area of 10 miles around the Greek islands of air space in the Aegean Sea.

Only in the 2015, the Turkish fighters would have violated Greek airspace for 31 times.
