Interview with the commander of the Sanivet School, gen. Orsini

18/04/14

Defense Online has pleasantly "discovered" the School of Health and Military Veterinary. The center, based in the "Artale" barracks of the Cecchignola in Rome, trains "military rescuers" and medical personnel with state-of-the-art systems, which for years has been one of the most effective weapons in the success of Italian missions abroad.

Until a few years ago there was even discussion on the appropriateness of the very existence of military health. The progress made in recent years, combined with the eloquent feedback from the foreign armed forces and the Italian healthcare excellence (see Bambino Gesù Hospital), seem to have made any second thoughts superfluous.

The commander of the school, Brig. dr. Francesco Orsini, is an extraordinary and engaging host, thanks to his sympathy the long video of the visit runs without weight teaching many aspects of the work of our soldiers which, if not unknown, are too often underestimated.
