In the last few hours news of a possible cyber attack against WHO, the Gates Foundation and the Wuhan Institute are bouncing on newspapers all over the world.

Different sources1 report thousands of e-mails, passwords and finished documents online as a result of data breach. According to the Washington Post, 25000 emails and passwords are stolen in the attack on the institutions involved. All kinds of messages have been “bouncing” on Twitter for hours.

The SITE Intelligence Group broke the news.

The attack appears to have been perpetrated by activists who currently remain unknown.

An Australian security researcher, Robert Potter, says the credentials stolen by the WHO are real.

The Gates Foundation said it was "acting according to the security protocol" and has not detected a data breach. The FBI declined any comment.
