"Sethlans 2014", the 132 ° artillery again in focus

The 22 May 2014 ended, at the Monte Romano shooting range, the training commitment of the 132 "Ariete" armored artillery regiment.

The exercise involved a howitzer battery, two joint fire support teams for the observation of the shot as well as a staff rate of the BCSL (Battery Command and Logistic support) department.

The “SETHLANS 2014” exercise, conducted by the artillery command, which began in the first week of May with the loading of vehicles and materials on the railway platforms at the Pordenone interport, allowed the Maniaghian artillerymen to increase the training level of the crews and refining the procedures relating to the organization and operation of command posts and target acquisition units.

Six months after the fire validation of the unit prepared for the Joint Rapid Response Force - JRRF, a battery of the 132 ° returns to carry out a fire activity with the PzH 2000 self-propelled that will concern, during the 2014, also the two other howitzers in the regiment.
