In the late morning of yesterday, during the patrol activity in the stretch of sea in front of the training area of Capo Teulada, the Italian Army patrol boat stationed at the 1 ° armored regiment, intercepted, via radio, a request for assistance launched from a sailing boat of 15 meters sailing along the Sardinian coast.
The Army patrol boat, involved in the Cagliari Harbor Master's Office, promptly intervened to rescue the damaged boat with a boatman aboard and after making sure of the good physical condition of the tourist on board, he towed the vessel towards the port of Teulada.
At the end of the rescue the patrol boat resumed its control activity, of the waters facing the training area of Capo Teulada.
