The “OrientaPuglia 2017”, an orientation exhibition organized at the Ente Fiera di Foggia in Hall 71, opened yesterday, registering a record turnout at the Army stand.
The information space, carried out by the Armed Forces Military Command "Puglia", in synergy with the 21 ° artillery regiment and the 11 ° regiment of genius genius, has seen hundreds of young people come together to get information on the training and professional opportunities offered by the armed forces.
The event, dedicated to students leaving upper secondary training institutes, saw the presence, in addition to the Army, of the main Italian universities and guidance agencies, with the aim of directing young people towards a rational and conscious choice. A great opportunity to do “job matching”, in a day of short conferences and seminars.
The nearly 1000 "contact forms" compiled by the students testify how the Army is perceived by young people and by society as a healthy and efficient organization capable of ensuring its own contribution whenever called upon to intervene.
General Mauro Prezioso, Territorial Commander of the Army in Puglia, said that "... once again the strong appeal that the Armed Force exercises towards young people is confirmed, thanks to the set of values, traditions and institutional tasks that characterize the Army".
