The COMFOTER reconfigures itself

The Chief of Staff of the Army, Army Corps General Danilo Errico, presided yesterday at Palazzo Carli in Verona, the ceremony of changing the leadership of the Operation of Terrestrial Operations Forces (COMFOTER).

After two years, the army corps general Alberto Primicerj sold the prestigious Veronese Command to the general of the army corps Amedeo Sperotto, formerly the chief of staff of the same body.

The ceremony was attended by all the commanders of the COMFOTER employee departments and numerous civil and religious authorities, demonstrating the deep ties and synergy with the local communities.

The mayor of the city of Verona, Flavio Tosi, handed over to the general Primicerj, who ends his active service, the medal of the city as a tangible sign of appreciation for his work.

The Army Chief of Staff, in his speech, in addition to thanking the outgoing commander for his excellent work during his term, officially sanctioned the reconfiguration of the Operation of Terrestrial Operations Forces in Command of the Terrestrial Support Operative Forces, deputy to the management of all the Commands of the Arms of support to the combat of the armed force.

Finally, General Errico added: "it is a development that rewards the experience gained over the years that have seen COMFOTER at the forefront in preparing about 75% of the units of the armed force".
