A delegation from the Armed Forces of the People's Republic of China was received yesterday at the Army Training Command and Application School. Welcomed at Palazzo Arsenale by the Institute's top management, the eleven Chinese officers attended a briefing on the current tasks and future prospects of one of the oldest training institutions in Europe.
The School's Education Program at the School of Application, based on effective synergy between the Army, the University of Turin and the Polytechnic of Turin, has aroused great interest in foreign visitors favoring consolidating projects of mutual co-operation on the training ground.
After the visit to the local historians of the eighteenth-century Arsenale Palace, the day ended with a friendly encounter between Chinese soldiers and a representation of all categories of staff in service at the Army's Training and Application School Command.
In leaving Torino, the summit of the delegation, Colonel Superior Shi Jingzhong, expressed his appreciation for the successful achievements of the School of Application in carrying out the institutional tasks and wished to strengthen the cooperation between Italy and China in a common consolidation perspective of international security.
