The visit of a delegation of Chinese officers to the Ettore Rosso barracks, headquarters of the Engineers Command, has just ended.
The delegation made up of several representatives of the Chinese armed forces, was received by the deputy commander of the Engineers, Colonel Amedeo Santoro, after the welcome greetings, attended a series of briefings explaining the training activities carried out by the C-IED Excellence Center, genius and del regimental training regiment Genius Support Center to Force Protection.
The Engineers Command is the national reference for the education and training of engineers, as well as the fulcrum of the doctrine and procedures for using the special means and materials of the Engineers' Weapon. Its "dual-use" employment makes it essential in military operations and important in supporting the population in the event of natural disasters.
