From 13 January to 07 February 2014 Lieutenant Xavier Neau, an officer in the French army, did a theoretical and practical training at the 132 ° Cordenons wagon regiment.

The activity was part of the training process of the French recruiters, who at the end of their studies complete an internship with units of the Allied armies.

The goal of these internships is to familiarize with the language, but above all to get in touch with the different tactical realities of the European armies that are part of NATO.

During this period, Lieutenant Neau participated in the conception, preparation and conduct of all the training activities carried out by the regiment, also having the opportunity to visit the other departments that are part of the 132 ^ "Ariete" armored brigade. The activity proved to be an important moment in order to consolidate the Italian-French bilateral cooperation in the field of Defense, at the same time allowing to deepen the mutual knowledge of the respective organizations.

At the end of the internship, the regiment commander, Colonel Ciro Forte expressed full satisfaction for the fruitful collaboration established between the young officers of the regiment and Lieutenant Neau.
