The specialization course for the assignment of light armored explorer and the specialization course for the task of heavy armored explorer ended in the past few days at the Lecce Cavalry School.
The courses of the duration of 12 weeks, are intended to provide personnel with the skills and knowledge to perform all the functions related to the task of heavy / light armored explorer.
Many of the visitors, of which 8 of the Cavalry School and well 52 from other Cavalry departments, could soon be employed with their own units in operations.
On the 20 and 21 December days, final assessment exercises were held for both courses, in particular the final exercise of the light arm explorer course was conducted with the aid of the new SIAT program simulation systems, in possession of the Tactical Training Center (CAT) of 2 level Lecce.
The CAT depends on the Army Simulation and Validation Center in Civitavecchia and also carries out activities in cooperation with the Cavalry School to supplement the training of the courses of its competence.
