The Folgore has 100 new paratroopers

A few days ago, at the "Gamerra" barracks in Pisa, home of the Parachuting Training Center, the traditional ceremony for the delivery of the parachuting license to 100 students of the 55th training course and basic training for air troops took place.

The ceremony, chaired by the commander of the Parachuting Training Center, Colonel Alessandro Borghesi, in the presence of the commander of the "Folgore" parachute brigade, General Rodolfo Sganga, and over 500 guests, saw the participation, as "godfather" of the course, by Lieutenant Colonel MOVM Gianfranco Paglia, to underline the values ​​that all paratroopers of yesterday, today and tomorrow have in common.

The training course of young paratroopers, lasting about 4 months and providing, at the beginning of the parachute course, 10 weeks of basic training and training, has reached its peak in the air campaign that saw the students achieve the 'patent scope and become, in effect, paratroopers of the brigade "Folgore" of the Italian Army.
