As part of the planning of training activities and exchanges with foreign countries, yesterday a delegation of officers and non-commissioned officers of the British Army visited the Army Simulation and Validation Center (Ce.Si.Va.) .

The meeting began with a welcome greeting from the deputy commander of Ce.Si.Va., Brigadier General Manlio Scopigno and continued with a briefing, always kept by the Deputy Commander of the Center, during which the main institutional activities of Ce.Si.Va. and Employees Tactical Training Centers (CAT). In particular, the gen. Scopigno focused on Command Command Exercises (CPX - Command Post Exercise), that is, to test the operational capabilities of the regimental and brigade-level units of future employment in the Operative Theaters of the Armed Forces, and on the activities " livex "of the CAT, those aimed at monitoring and evaluating the decisional processes of the commanders of each level and the behavior on the ground of the units.

The meeting with the English delegation ended with a visit to the CPX infrastructure and the Integration Test Bed (ITB), to assist, in the latter case, a demonstration of the Automated Control Command System armed force (SIACCON), as well as the illustration of the functionalities of theBasic Synthetic Environment (ASB), the virtual scenario that allows trained units to experience physical and psychological involvement very similar to the real one.
