In the icy waters of Venice, the second "Charlie" amphibious qualification course dedicated to the staff of the "Pozzuolo del Friuli" cavalry brigade and the dependent regiments concluded in recent days.

The three-week course allowed the visitors to acquire fundamental knowledge about amphibious operations and basic skills in order to carry out planning activities related to this type of operation, developing specialized amphibious staff skills, individual familiarity in the insidious operating environment and above all resilience.

The students, as part of the lessons ensured by the high training standards guaranteed by the "Serenissima" lagoon regiment as an amphibious school body of the Armed Force, carried out theoretical and practical activities such as river crossing, overturning of boats, weighted with weapon and heavy weight and learning of the technical tactical procedures typical of joint staff operating in an amphibious environment. Following the "Charlie" course, the staff of the brigade command can be profitably employed as specialist augmentees in a command of Landing Force of National Projection Screening Capacity. The constant training guarantees the necessary technical-professional and ethical preparation to successfully face all the challenges and tasks assigned to the "Pozzuolo del Friuli" on the national territory and in the missions abroad.

The cavalry brigade "Pozzuolo del Friuli", under the command of Brigadier General Giovanni Parmiggiani, is a multi-faceted brigade of maneuvering and provides the Army's assets for the National Projection Screening Capacity (CNPM).
