In recent days, at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center (JMRC) of Hohenfels in Germany, the multinational exercise called "Allied Spirit 10" took place with the involvement of soldiers from 24 different nations, in which the Italian Army participated with personnel and assets of the 4th tank regiment .
The activity, aimed at testing and increasing the capabilities of the units in the planning and conduct of tactical activities typical of a high intensity combat scenario, has favored the development of synergies between the various multinational components in the constant search for interoperability between countries belonging to the 'Atlantic Alliance.
During the 10-day continuous exercise, the Italian unit conducted offensive and defensive tactical activities, through the use of simulation systems (MILES), and conducted numerous activities that made it possible to verify the effectiveness of the procedures, the level of preparation of the units and the ability of the individual tankers.
The participation of the smaller units of the 4th Tank Regiment in the "Allied Spirit 2024" falls within the broader framework of training activities aimed at increasing the technical-tactical preparation of the armored units, seeking greater interoperability with the armies of allied countries and developing the capabilities of the junior leader of the Bersaglieri Brigade Garibaldi.
