14 neo Military Mountaineering Instructors qualified by the Alpine Training Center

On Tuesday, with the reading of the rankings and the awarding of diplomas, the 10 ° Qualifying Course of Mountaineering.

After the initial selections, which only saw 16 of the aspiring 32s fall within the stringent parameters required, the users have faced 5 weeks after which 14 candidates have obtained the title of Military Instructor e Selected Military Instructor.

The course is based on a very complex process, composed of 2 modules, one of climbing techniques and one of ice movement lasting, respectively, of 3 and 2 weeks.

Thanks to the excellent objectives achieved, the staff has been able to refine, first on the main Valle d'Aosta peaks and in the last week also in the Trentino Dolomites, its technical mountaineering training, deepening the already good knowledge on the use of materials, self-rescue techniques and rescue organized, dealing more specifically with all matters relating to the conduct of the mountain departments.

The passing of this course, together with the qualifications of "Military / military instructor chosen for skiing and ski mountaineering and that of" Military Expert Snow and Avalanche "is a prerequisite for the staff who want to specialize in the Alpine Rescue sector, later qualifying as commander of Rescue Team.

The Alpine Training Center, thanks to the very high level of professional preparation of its staff, is reconfirmed as the main center of excellence for movement, combat and survival in the high mountains and in the Arctic environment, as well as a must for all staff, not only belonging to the Alpine Troops, which requires adequate preparation and training for a correct approach to the Alpine environment.
