At the Riva di Traiano Winter Championship, the Navy climbs to the third step of the podium in the ORC - Group 2 rankings of the category Regattas, with First 36,7 Cygnus of the Sailing Section of Anzio.
Under the careful organization of the Riva di Traiano Nautical Club (CNRT), 7 Championship races were held, on coastal and windward-leeward circuits, in which 38 boats with high technical level crews participated, divided into 5 different categories: Regatta, Cruise , Coastal, Coastal for Two and Easy Coastal.
Participation in the championship is part of the zonal and national competitions that the Sailing Sections of the Navy carry out to consolidate training, culture and maritime values among the personnel in service.
Next appointment for First 36.7 Cygnus of the Sailing Section of Anzio will participate in the regatta in mid-April Riva for Everyone, prestigious and challenging Tyrrhenian regatta of approximately 250 miles, of which Cygnus holds the title in IRC and ORC, won in the 2023 edition.
