In the historic base of Varignano, headquarters of the "Teseo Tesei" Underwater and Incursors Group, the achievement of the green beret as a raider of 3 young sailors who about a year ago began a hard training course together with other 21 colleagues was celebrated.

In the presence of the commander-in-chief of the naval squad, squad admiral Donato Marzano, former commander of Comsubin and of the Joint operation for special operations (COFS), and of the civil and military authorities of La Spezia, 1 officer and 2 sub-chiefs received the raider's license and became part of the Special Forces of the Navy. In particular, 2 newly patented people come from the enrollment for volunteers on a fixed one-year stay, which allows access to the preparatory course as an Incursore just two months from the act of entering the armed force.

Simultaneously with the delivery of Basque as an incursor, the Italian Underwater Activities Federation (FIAS) has also granted the 3 military the Open FIAS-CMAS patents (Confédération Mondiale des activités subaquatiques), recognized internationally, by virtue of direct equivalence, of the attestations issued by Comsubin, implemented by the federation of the 2017.

Becoming an Incursor means living an exciting and unique profession, with the possibility of an exciting and fulfilling career in the Italian Special Forces Department known and renowned in the world. You can become an operator of the Incursion Operational Group, as well as through the attendance of the Naval Academy of Livorno and the Non-commissioned schools of the Navy, participating in a special competition for Volunteers in One Year Fixed (VFP1) which allows direct access to the Comsubin School. The announcement is published annually in the Official Gazette. For more information just consult the website of the Italian Navy.
