The Military Navy will be present in Bologna at the 26 edition of EUDISHOW, the European diving exhibition, with the "Teseo Tesei" Submarine and Incursor Grouping (COMSUBIN), the underwater structures of the Command of the Mine Countermeasure Forces (MARICODRAG) and the Hydrographic Institute of the Navy.

From 2 to 5 March 2018, you can immerse yourself in the Comsubin stand in a journey that will tell more than a century of history of military diving, through unique equipment that have marked the development of this discipline in the world. Among real pieces of history will be exposed, in addition, some of the most modern materials that are currently used by the men of the Operational Group Incursors and divers in the Operating Group Underwater during their missions, very often conducted in favor of the community. In particular, in the Marina stand will be exhibited, for the first time, a modern rigid ADS (Atmospheric Diving System) suit updated to the version Quantum, which allows you to immerse a man up to 300 meters deep. Also you can wear the traditional dress by Palombaro complete with helmet, boots and leads to take a selfie that can not be missing in the photographic collection of each diver.

In the Maricodrag exhibition area it will be possible to view the underwater research systems and the ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) used both in mine countermeasures activities and in monitoring and mapping of the seabed where the Marina is involved in multiple collaborations with civil entities such as, for example, with the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism.

At the EUDISHOW will also be present the Hydrographic Institute of the Navy, the State Cartographic Organ designated for the production of the official national nautical documentation very often used by recreational divers to search for new and interesting dive sites.
Particularly rich is the parterre of prizes that will be assigned to the staff of Comsubin during this edition of the European Underwater Exhibition:

It will be a unique opportunity to deepen this particular technique of diving, which only the Navy can express in the Mediterranean, and to remember Enzo Maiorca who, first, was able to recognize in the plates of that wreck the Sebastiano Veniero, as he himself told in the book "The last dive - The discovery of the Veniero submarine".

Within the "Dive Doctor" area assigned to SIMSI (Italian Society of Underwater and Hyperbaric Medicine) there will be a Medical Officer of COMSUBIN with the intervention health structures used by the PAG Group (Parachute Assistance Group) of the Operating Group Underwater in the area of rescue activities on the high seas. The specialized health component of the Navy continues to prove essential for the care of citizens affected by decompression sickness for underwater activities (carbon monoxide poisoning, gaseous gangrene, crush injuries or at-risk fractures and many other diseases) that are submitted, as already happened on several occasions in the 2018, to treatment of hyperbaric oxygen therapy (OTI) at the hyperbaric implants of COMSUBIN and of the Military Hospital Center of Taranto, the only structures present in the provinces of La Spezia and Taranto.
