With the use of 10 vehicles, he reclaimed a large area of the forest in the countryside of Gravina in Puglia and Ruvo di Puglia, and some illegal landfills were identified on the itineraries of the Alta Murgia National Park.
The activity was carried out with the collaboration of the municipality of Ruvo di Puglia and with the participation of the State Forestry Corps.
The band of the brigade performed in a concert in Ruvo di Puglia at the G. Bovio school to seal the collaboration with the municipality. This collaboration between state institutions is an example of synergistic work to protect the environment and the Alta Murgia National Park and deterrence to combat environmental crimes.
For the occasion, the municipal administration was present in the persons of the mayor Vito Ottombrini and the councilor for culture Pasquale De Palo, the regional president of the bersaglieri Ferdinando Damiani together with the bersaglieri of the local section, the commander of the Pinerolo, general Stefano Del Col, the head teacher prof. G. Quatela with pupils, teachers and parents.
The band composed by 25 very good elements and directed by the master 1 Marshal Carlo Resta have performed music like the military march "4 maggio", the triumphal march taken from the opera "Aida", a short composition of western movie soundtracks composed by Ennio Morricone, the "Va pensiero" taken from Nabucco by G. Verdi, "Nuovo cinema paradiso" and again "Amparito Roca", "The second waltz", "The cavalcade of the Valkyries", "Amami Alfredo", "Carmen" and others, concluding with the most beautiful song of the Italians "the Italian anthem" by Goffredo Mameli composed in the 1847.
Needless to say, the band received applause even at the open scene and with an unscheduled program, a buffet set up in the headquarters of the section. ass. nat. bersaglieri of Ruvo. To reach it he marched by playing in the streets of the city.
