The commander of Northern operational forces, general of the army corps Salvatore Camporeale, visited the units of the "Folgore" parachute brigade engaged, at the Monte Ro-mano firing range, in a cycle of exercises to test the planning, preparation and conduct capabilities of military tactical activities in "broad spectrum" scenarios, from those of peacekeeping and support to the Armed Forces of host nations to those of high intensity.
The training progression made it possible to validate the command and control capabilities of the great unit, using in a synchronized manner diversified structures of dependent departments and other specific components of the Army, capable of expressing a range of specific skills which guarantee maximum flexibility and operational complementarity to the land instrument.
In this context, the capabilities of the "Folgore" departments to operate in any operational scenario, even non-permissive ones, as well as in response to threats with an increasing level of danger were also consolidated, enhancing the synergy between the "Combat", "Combat Support” and “Combat Service Support”.
In addition to the units of the "Folgore" parachute brigade, assets of the command for training, specialization and doctrine of the Armyof the Army Aviation Command, of the tactical information brigade, of the 7th transmission regiment, of the 87th RCST "Friuli" and of the Multinational Cimic Group.
