At the Military Medical and Veterinary School the 76th course for military rescuers, which lasted four weeks, was completed, with nine attendants including non-commissioned officers and graduates of the armed force.

At the same time, the 9th course for instructors and aid instructors of military rescue also ended, in which 7 medical officers of the 121st technical application course and 6 graduates of the armed force participated.

During the course for military rescuers, in full compliance with the limitations related to the current pandemic context, theoretical-practical activities related to tactical pre-hospital rescue were conducted, referring to the international guidelines of the Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC).

In compliance with current legislation, the new military rescuers have developed knowledge, skills and abilities in the basic management of the traumatized person in non-permissive contexts, such as the management of compressible massive hemorrhages, airways and traumas of the chest and hemorrhagic shock and techniques of extrication, immobilization and transport of the traumatized person. In this context, the possibility is also given to experiment with new teaching methods and new cutting-edge healthcare facilities, also with the collaboration of the sector industry. The course for instructors and aid instructors of military rescue, on the other hand, allowed medical officers and graduates to acquire knowledge and skills in the field of frontal teaching and high fidelity simulation, making them ready to integrate futures Brigade Mobile Training Team (BMTT) reference.

"The School of Health and Military Veterinary is increasingly oriented to meet the needs of the Armed Force, through the training and training of all the professional and secular figures of the Army", commented Colonel Michele Tirico, commander of the School on the occasion of the delivery of the certificates at the end of the courses.
