The NCO School in support of the Viterbo Order of Nursing Professions

Difficult days are those that our country is going through, engaged in the fight against the "coronavirus", days in which mutual help between citizens and institutions is certainly the winning weapon to triumph and emerge from the crisis.

In these circumstances, the marshal students of the XXI Course "Example" and of the XXII Course "Dare" of the Army Non-Official School they felt a strong duty to be an active part and make a concrete contribution to the city of Viterbo, home to the training institute. The future Marshals, in fact, in recent days have launched a solidarity campaign for the purchase of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to be destined for the "Belcolle" Hospital.

In addition to the actual staff at the school, the initiative was joined by family members and friends of the students, and it was possible to collect, in just four days, the necessary for the purchase of four hundred water-repellent overalls delivered, today, to the president of the 'Order of Nursing Professions (OPI) of Viterbo, dr. Mario CURZI. The material will be destined for the staff employed in the COVID-19 wards of the city hospital.

With this testimony the students, although at the moment far from the school following the current provisions of the political and military authorities aimed at containing the spread of the virus, once again demonstrated the affection and the strong sense of attachment to the city of Viterbo and to the local community, to which they ideally join, aware that together it will be possible to defeat the epidemic and overcome this difficult moment.

A simple gesture that follows the traditional trail of solidarity traced over time by all the soldiers serving the country.
