Diagnostic imaging of the "Celio" Military Polyclinic of Rome open to citizens

(To Army Majority State)

The collaboration between the Celio Military Hospital in Rome and the San Giovanni Addolorata Hospital has expanded. The agreement, which provides users with the use of radiological tests with the latest generation equipment, has already allowed, after the first three weeks of activity, to support the Regional Health System with 107 tests carried out in favor of patients. In particular, 41 mammograms, 24 computed tomography and 42 nuclear magnetic resonances were performed.

The collaboration is carried out in the afternoon slot from Monday to Friday thus allowing to expand the slots dedicated to the services provided in the ordinary regime.

The service provided by the Diagnostic Unit of the Military Polyclinic of Rome is added to the existing agreement relating to the 40 beds made available to the Regional Health System (in the surgical and medical branches). The intent, in fact, is to reduce the waiting lists relating to diagnostic imaging for citizens of the city of Rome.
