A team of the mechanized “Pinerolo” brigade, qualified for the escort and VIP protection, trained for about two weeks in Puglia in the use of a new non-lethal ammunition to make operational activities even more realistic.
The objective was to review and standardize shooting and movement techniques in tight spaces, in a safe and very real context, in which the weapons supplied to the Army are powered by bullets with water charge and dyes, belonging to the together called "SIMUNITION".
It is a patented system, with reduced energy operation, consisting of short-range ammunition which, used in conjunction with a conversion kit to replace the original shutter, allows performing activities with opposing parties (force on force), making the extremely real training scenario.
Teamwork, preparation and intensive training is what is required of the staff employed in the escort and VIP protection who, after being rigidly selected from the regiments belonging to the "Pinerolo" Brigade, joins a highly specialized Army team and employees. especially in international scenarios to ensure the safety of military personnel.
