The 3 ° Stormo welcomed the numerous units of the two components, providing all the support necessary for the flight activity of the three C-130J USAF aircraft.
The event represented a moment of integration between operational activities and training.
The 3 ° Stormo ensures the capacity of the national Air Terminal Operation Center (ATOC) for the provision of technical-operational support to all national and allied military carriers.
Particular emphasis is given to the training of personnel to be used in military exercises / operations, both on the national territory and outside national borders, not only for the military aeronautics but also in the interforce and multinational sphere.
The Stormo also guarantees all the logistic projection capabilities of excellence (expeditionary & deployable) in order to ensure the readiness of use of the components of the Air Expeditionary Task Force (AETF).
