In the development session held on Friday morning, General Mauro Prezioso - territorial military commander of the Army in Puglia - spoke as speaker on the project called "Employment opportunities" relating to the reintegration into the world of work of young volunteers who return to civil society after a more or less long period spent in the Armed Forces.
The initiative, directed by the department of the General Secretariat of Defense, is managed by the office for supporting the professional relocation of voluntary discharged personnel, and finds, as an operational arm, all the Army Military Commands Italy.
This project at regional level is followed by Army Military Command "Puglia" through the Placement Section, offers volunteers discharged without demerit, a range of opportunities ranging from orientation to vocational training, attendance of internships / internships to identify possible employment opportunities, up to the recognition of formal / informal skills acquired during military life.
General Prezioso, during his speech, stated that: "the "Employment opportunities" project does not want to be a panacea for youth unemployment, but it is certainly a useful and operational tool that sees the Ministry of Defense very determinedly committed to providing specific training to soldiers who have left the service, in order to make it easier to enter the world of civil work".
