After the flag-raising ceremony and the greeting of the Regiment commander, Colonel Nicola Serio, the program included a visit to the barracks, with a static exhibition set up for the occasion with the main and most significant means and materials supplied to the regiment, responsible of the experimentation of the "future soldier" project.
Subsequently a practical demonstration of a platoon was carried out in the execution of a control place (check point). The educational institutions concerned were: the Secondary Institute "Archimede", the Secondary Institute "Casiero", both of Barletta, and the Secondary Institute of 1 ° Grado "Giovanni XXIII" of San Ferdinando di Puglia.
The activity was attended by 184 pupils accompanied by their teachers. Everyone was able to satisfy their curiosity, interact with the infantry of the "Torino" and draw useful information from the Infoteam, specially set up for the occasion.
