The 194 "Coraggio" course won the 9 ° Army Application School trophy, held over the weekend at the Military Sports Center of Piazza d'Armi.
In a festive public framework, three hundred and fifty Army men and women, a hundred members of the police force and the main Piedmontese sports clubs met in various disciplines, some of which traditionally belonged to the military: pistol shooting, swimming and water polo , volleyball and fencing, pentathlon, cross-country and track racing, rugby, mountain biking, horse riding and boxing.
To cheer in individual and team competitions, colleagues, friends, family members of the athletes and many families who, taking advantage of the opening of the Military Sports Center, decided to share a day of sport and fun with the Army.
Great enthusiasm for the little ones for the horses and riders of the Application School and the satisfaction of the children who have experimented in complete safety with the basic mountaineering techniques in climbing gyms set up with the collaboration of the National Alpine Association.
The trophy, now in its ninth edition, is confirmed as a privileged moment of encounter between members of the armed forces and police operating in the area, sportsmen of all ages and citizens motivated by the desire to spend a day of sport and celebration alongside the boys and girls in uniform.
