"Land of fires": soldiers find two stolen cars

Caserta, sappers of the 21st Genio Regiment, engaged in dynamic surveillance activities in the "Terra dei fuochi" operation, during a patrol service in the industrial area of the municipality of Marcianise (CE), some individuals have been tinkering around two vehicles that, at the sight of the "lynx", they disappeared into the surrounding countryside, abandoning the vehicles that were intent on dismantling.

On the spot, following the report of the sappers, the Carabinieri intervened who carried out the findings of the case and then removed the vehicles, stolen results. The incident underlines, once again, the importance that the Italian Army assumes as part of the "Terra dei fuochi" operation, where, in addition to combating environmental crimes, it acts as a deterrent for common crime.
