NATO Noble Blueprint 24 exercise concluded

Concluded at Novo Selo Training Area the exercise Noble Blueprint 24, preparatory training activity for achieving full operational capacity of the smaller units of the multinational battle group Bulgaria (MNBG BGR).​​​

The live fire exercise developed in a high intensity conventional combat scenario involved national and multinational units battle group NATO.

The training objectives of the "Noble Blueprint" aim to test the planning capacity of the command posts, integrate the multinational components of the battle group and confirm the operational level of the companies exercised in the planning, organization and conduct of offensive tactical activities.

The exercise saw over 400 soldiers from all the companies included in the battle group deployed on the ground and represented an important training moment and opportunity for professional growth for the Italian soldiers, allowing them to interoperate with foreign personnel and familiarize themselves with the equipment of other NATO armies.

“Know each other, before we need each other” it is not only the motto of this exercise but indicates the concrete commitment of the Alliance members to increase integration and interoperability capabilities, to standardize, test and validate common operating procedures.

Personnel, vehicles and equipment from Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Turkey and the United States constitute the backbone of the multinational battle group.
