In the early afternoon of yesterday, the cavalrymen of the "Guides", engaged in the "Safe Roads" operation within the "Campania" Group, intervened, in competition with the police, to control a large fire in a garage court near Giugliano in Campania (NA).
In the operational activity in support of the carabinieri present and, subsequently of the firefighters, two Army patrols intervened in dynamic surveillance service in the so-called "Terra dei Fuochi", which took care to avoid the risk that the flames would involve the civilian personnel passing through ensuring assistance to the viability of the area. Yesterday alone, two more waste fires were reported by the Army soldiers, a van found stolen and two new illegal spill sites.
