The 10 ° genius guzzler regiment from the 11 July to today has achieved important results in the provinces of Naples, Caserta and Salerno, carrying out more than 7500 patrols, controlling more than 24.000 people and 9500 vehicles, of which 170 seized, found more than 50 vehicles stolen, seized over 3 kg of drugs and 28 kg of tobacco, identified more than 150 new sites of illegal waste spill and reported over 100 burnings of waste.
The work carried out by the military in the "Terra dei Fuochi" is part of the operational activities of the "Campania" grouping, within the "Strade Sicure" operation, coordinated by the 2 defense forces command (2 ° FOD) of San Giorgio a Cremano (NA), commander of the corps general Carmine De Pascale.
