The military intervened, assisted the occupants of the cars involved, endeavoring to activate rescue operations through the State Police Operations Room and securing the part of the road affected by the accident by regulating traffic.
In a few minutes an ambulance arrived carrying the drivers involved to the local hospital of Borgo Trento.
