"Safe Roads": soldiers find a lost child

(To Army Majority State)
10/09/15

Yesterday afternoon, a girl of German nationality was rescued by Army soldiers, belonging to the Lagunari Regiment, employed in the "Safe Roads" operation near Piazza San Marco.

The child, in an evident state of agitation due to the loss of orientation, was accompanied to the interforce command in the aforementioned square where all the operating rooms operating in the area were informed. After a few minutes the communication arrived that the parents had reported the disappearance at the local police station.

The military, therefore, accompanied the child to the station where, after the planned recognition procedures, she could re-embrace her parents who sincerely thanked them. In the same afternoon, a patrol operating in Vicenza helped two drivers involved in an accident, regulating road traffic pending the arrival of the police.
