The soldiers of the 32nd Engineer Guastatori Regiment, on guard duty in the Jewish district of Turin, noticed a man being chased by some police officers and promptly stopped him. The young African, without documents, was then arrested. Since August 2008, the Army has participated in the "Safe Roads" operation in competition and jointly with the police, guaranteeing safety and crime prevention by guarding sensitive points and patrolling the city areas.
