"Safe Roads": soldiers intervene following a theft

lia of the Italian Army, while it was watching over some sensitive sites in the center of Milan, helped to recover the stolen goods following the break-in of a car in Via Majno, a short distance from the headquarters of the newspaper Free rider.

The military intervened promptly after noticing a man breaking the window of a parked car, picking up a backpack and escaping. The car owner, after being contacted, reported the theft communicating that there was a mobile phone inside the bag.

The backpack was found shortly after without the mobile phone inside which, instead, was traced in the possession of a man blocked by agents and soldiers. After declaring that he had bought it a few minutes ago and was not the author of the theft, the man was taken to the police station for investigations, while the stolen goods were returned to its rightful owner.
