A patrol from the 17th Army Artillery Regiment, engaged in the "Safe Roads" operation in Verona, yesterday afternoon, stopped in via Campo Fiore near the Russian consulate, an individual armed with a long stick.
Following investigations, the individual was found to be of Malian nationality and hosted at the "Casa Grande" center of the Scaliger city as an asylum seeker immigrant.
During the search operations, the individual was found wearing a well-hidden cutting weapon.
Transferred to the Verona police station, he was then sued for possession of an illegal and released weapon.
