Safe Roads: checks at border crossings and in Italian cities

(To Army Majority State)

Last weekend, patrols of Army soldiers employed at the border crossings with Austria and Slovenia checked about seventy undocumented foreigners, handing them over to the police forces for the required formalities.

In Trieste, at the former border crossing point "Fernetti", during a joint checkpoint with the State Police, a bus was checked inside which a Romanian citizen was present, who was the recipient of a prison order and therefore, under arrest.

At the central railway station in Milan, however, a military patrol noticed, during a normal check to a foreign citizen, that the latter was in possession of false identification documents.
The individual was arrested and taken to the Polfer offices for the due investigation.
