The 2014-2015 academic year closes in the Military Academy

Today, in the Cortile d'Onore of the Ducal Palace of Modena, in the presence of the commander of the Military Academy, gen. d. Salvatore Camporeale, and the local authorities, held the closing ceremony of the 2014-2015 academic year of the Military Academy.

On this occasion the change of the commander of the student regiment between the brigade general Fulvio Poli, newly promoted, who gave the command to the col. Uberto Iincisa of Camerana.

In his farewell greeting, gen. B. Poli has recalled, with not a little emotion, the exciting period of the past command, highlighting the importance of the role of commander of official students, future leaders of the Army and of the Carabinieri, to whom it is necessary to transmit the correct ethical and moral values ​​that are the foundation of the military profession.

Afterwards, the prizes were awarded to the students of the 195 "Impeto" course, particularly distinguished in university studies, in technical-professional and gymnastic-sports activities. As the final act of the two-year academic course spent in Modena, the chosen Regimental leader, Gianluca Fruci, handed over to the Military Academy commander the pennant of the 195 course "Impeto", which will be kept in the hall of the historical museum dedicated to the custody of the memories of academic courses.

The mayor of Modena, dr. Gian Carlo Muzzarelli, who confirmed the affection and closeness of the Modena citizens to the Military Academy and to the institution that it represents, highlighting the delicate task entrusted to men and women in uniform, as faithful servants of Italy and of the Constitution .

In his speech, General Camporeale highlighted the brilliant results achieved by pupils and official students both in his studies and in the technical-professional activities, also referring to training in a tactical campaign recently carried out in various training areas of the Armed Forces, and concluded by wishing the young "colleagues" of the 195 the best fortunes for their future as officers.
