Twenty-three officers of the 26th course of the Selected Reserve, among which nine women, have today pronounced the formula of the oath before the Banner of the Institute, decorated of silver medal to the Military Valor.
The ceremony took place in the evocative setting of the Aula Magna of Palazzo Arsenale, packed with family members, friends and staff of the Institute of Military Studies.
In possession of a cultural and professional background of interest to the Armed Forces, the officers of the Selected Reserve follow a five-week training cycle which includes theoretical studies and practical exercises.
The aim of the course is to provide the users, including doctors, architects, engineers, lawyers, historians and a criminologist, the basic tools for a profitable inclusion in the reality of the Army, in anticipation of their future national or international employment.
