In the presence of the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army, general of the Army Corps Giovanbattista Borrini, the "Rangers" of the 4th Alpine Parachute Regiment yesterday conducted a series of tactical activities with a US "Rangers" platoon of the 75th Regiment stationed at Fort Benning in Georgia.

The training, developed on an ongoing basis and in decidedly difficult weather conditions, was focused on sharing operational procedures and mountaineering techniques with the specialist overseas counterpart.

The excellent results of complex bilateral activity, completed with a night-time exercise involving a joint high-altitude raid, further confirmed the high degree of interoperability between the two special operations departments and highlighted the mutual interest in consolidating a precious and profitable partnership.
