28 teams participated representing 18 nations. The wind, particularly strong and turbulent, made it possible to complete only three of the eight planned launches. The parachuting section of the army participated with seven men and one woman. It should be noted that the Italian national team was composed exclusively of army athletes. Once again, therefore, our athletes have brought prestige to the armed force by reconfirming themselves at the top of the world. The second round of the World Cup (WCS, or World Cup Series) will take place from 27 to June 29 in Slovenia.
