Last Saturday an army patrol used in the "Safe Roads" operation, belonging to the group "Lazio, Umbria and Abruzzo", contributed to the arrest of some men near the "Cipro" station of the "A" line of the underground Rome in different circumstances.

In particular, the soldiers of the 6 ° Bersaglieri regiment of Trapani have arrested a citizen of foreign nationality for a check and found him in possession of a knife with a blade more than ten centimeters long, hidden in a pocket.

After contacting the operations room of the Rome Police Headquarters, the man and a friend of his were placed in custody by police officers for further checks.

On the same day another military patrol conducted investigations against four suspect individuals, two foreign men and two Italian girls, surprised to exchange trash bags containing strange substances.

With the help of a steering wheel of the State Police, the military managed to be delivered by the two men, initially uncooperative, the material in their possession: a knife and what, following further analysis, turned out to be sachets of narcotic substances.

One of the two arrested, then accompanied to the local police station where the contents of the sachets were checked (about 30 grams of cocaine and over 2 grams of hashish), was arrested and sent to trial with immediate trial.
